Stay out of pain long after your last appointment

Finishing therapy should not mean losing the progress. Our wellness programming keeps the strength, balance and mobility you rebuilt — and catches the small problems before they become injuries.

About wellness & prevention

We build individualized strength and mobility programs for patients transitioning out of active care, for older adults working on balance and fall prevention, and for anyone whose job or sport puts repeated stress on the same joints.

Programs include progressive resistance training, balance and gait work, posture and desk ergonomics, running and lifting mechanics, and prehab for a planned surgery. Everything is coached in person, then written into a plan you can run at home or at your gym.

Prevention is the least expensive care we offer. A periodic movement screen at our Springfield or Ironbound clinic often catches a mobility restriction months before it turns into a torn tendon or a locked back.

Common questions

Do I need to be a former patient?
No. Wellness programs are open to anyone, whether or not you have been treated here.
Is wellness covered by insurance?
Preventive wellness programming is generally self-pay. We will tell you the cost up front.
How often should I come in?
Many patients do well with a weekly or biweekly session plus a home program, then a recheck every few months.
