Work Related Injuries👷‍♂️

⛑

Whether a person works in an office or has a physically demanding job, a work-related injury may occur at some point during their career. For those with more physically demanding occupations, injuries to the knees, hips, joints and back are commonplace. Neck sprains and strains are also associated with physically demanding jobs, and some workers may even suffer from sciatica.

⛑

Excessive physical demand is placed on construction workers, roofers, plumbers, welders and concrete workers, and employees working in all of these occupations are at a high risk for work-related injuries.

👷‍♂️Physical Therapy for Work Related Injuries👷‍♂️

⛑

The goal of physical therapy for work-related injuries is to help an individual safely return to work.

⛑

During physical therapy, your doctor will design a routine to help you regain functionality in the work place. Normally the physical therapy will focus on the same types of movements and activities that an injured individual would engage in daily, in order to help the body become re-accustomed to certain motions.
